When you open the catalog from a selected cable, breaker, transformer, busbar, contactor, motor or load, FaultChain keeps that component type selected instead of presenting unrelated categories.
Relevant engineering properties
Cables filter by conductor material, insulation and cross-section. MCBs use rated current, breaking capacity and trip curve. MCCBs and ACBs use rated current and Icu/breaking capacity. Contactors use rated current and SCCR. Transformers use kVA, primary and secondary voltage and uk%. Busbars use Icw and Ipk. Loads use kW and power factor; motors use kW and rated current.
Cleaner option lists
Manufacturer, series, current and breaking-capacity options are rebuilt from the selected component type, so cable browsing no longer exposes breaker current/rating filters and device lists no longer mix unrelated catalog values.
