Build 14 data workflow
FaultChain PRO now includes a manufacturer source-registry viewer and an authorised data-pack importer. Engineers can import exact manufacturer records they are permitted to use into the browser-local My Components library, preserving manufacturer, family/model, source URL, review date and rights/provenance fields. The JSON template shows the supported source structure.
The source registry tracks routes for ABB, Schneider Electric, Eaton, Littelfuse, Mersen, Italweber and ETIM. A registry entry is a provenance/onboarding route, not a claim that the manufacturer has endorsed FaultChain or licensed an embedded commercial database.

Commercial-safe rule
Manufacturer names identify products and do not imply endorsement. Public readability of a data sheet does not automatically establish permission to redistribute a protected commercial database or complete curve set. FaultChain therefore keeps generic presets, real factual references, user-imported authorised data and manufacturer-verified packs conceptually separate.
Engineering rule
A part number and interrupting rating do not establish peak let-through or total-clearing energy at every prospective fault level. A single I²t value is a single evidence point. Apparent RMS let-through is not peak current. Missing engineering evidence remains unavailable rather than being estimated under a manufacturer name.
